1. About this service

Thoughts in Knots ("TinK", "the newsletter") is a subscription publication written and operated by Akshit Kumar, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By subscribing to or using thoughtsinknots.com, you agree to these terms.

2. What you get

A paid subscription gives you access to new issues delivered by email, and access to the full archive on this website for as long as your subscription is active. Some issues are made freely available at the author's discretion and can be read without a subscription.

3. Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis at the prices displayed on the subscribe page. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will be charged the then-current price at each renewal.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Accounts are for individual use. Sharing account access, or distributing paid issues to people who have not subscribed, is not permitted.

6. Content and copyright

All writing published in Thoughts in Knots is the original work of Akshit Kumar and is protected by copyright. You may read, save, and quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish, redistribute, sell, or use the work to train machine learning models without written permission.

7. Availability

This is a solo publication. Issues are intended to be weekly, but the author reserves the right to vary publication frequency, take breaks, or pause the newsletter. If publication is suspended for an extended period, active subscribers will be notified and offered an appropriate remedy.

8. Termination

The author may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, including sharing paid content or abusive conduct. Where termination is not the result of a breach, any unused portion of a prepaid subscription will be refunded.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
